I just want to be alone, hideout from the countless number of people offering us their condolences, asking me if I’m okay.
I just want to stay in this room. I want to open the windows, but close all the blinds. I simply want to curl up under the covers and listen to the wind without anyone to wonder where I’ve gone and without anyone trying to find me.
I’ve been strong for the rest of my family all day, holding back the tears.
I’m drained.
